Location description
The Ace Cafe is well known for its classic car events, and its long history. Built in 1938 as a roadside Cafe for the new North Circular road, it was extended in 1939 to include petrol pumps and a service station. Badly damaged during the war, it was rebuilt in 1949. During the 50s and 60s it became a popular meeting place for Bikers.
It was re-opened in its current form in 2001, and is again a popular meeting place, with many events aimed at classic cars of various types.
