BMRC Classic Car and Bike show

Burpham Motor Racing Club (BMRC) is holding its second Classic Car and Bike show in Burpham just outside Arundel, West Sussex on 27th August on the village green.

The event is being hosted in conjunction with The George and Dragon pub, who will be laying on a sumptuous BBQ. Voted �No.1 Pub to Walk to� by the Sunday Telegraph and awarded AA Rosettes for its outstanding food year after year, a warm welcome, great food and traditional hospitality await you.

The George & Dragon will also host a wine and Pimms stand and a beer tent serving local guest ales.

In addition to the classic cars and bikes, other attractions will include �The Car�s the Star�, twelve famous cars from film and TV shows, including the original Batmobile from the sixties. �Dream Rides� offers members of the public the chance to ride in the car of their dreams on a ten-mile trip in return for a donation to charity.

"Bygone Burpham" is a nostalgia display celebrating the village and village life, everything from the Home Guard (in support of the Royal British Legion) to commercial vehicles and vintage tractors. There will also be a mini farmer�s market. And don�t worry about the little ones; there is plenty of entertainment for them to!

We will also have �The Village Stores�, specialist dealers selling everything from jewelry to fabulous Formula 1 photos.

For those entering a vehicle, there will be judging and prizes for both cars and bikes, in three main classes: Pride of Ownership, the cr�me de la cr�me, (as close to the original as possible), Spirit, for projects celebrating personal restoration challenges and those that are most used, and finally Best in Show, a special prize where members of the public will vote for their favorite car and bike.
