Rushden Cavalcade of Transport and Country Show
The committee have organised a three day event at the Rushden Transport Museum station on Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th & Monday 7th May to replace the normal Cavalcade, which has been cancelled due to the sodden ground at the showground.
It will include a mini beer fest with real ale and ciders.
Model railways, break van rides and a selection of exhibitors who were due to appear at the cavalcade, will attend with smaller items such as motorcycles etc.
The Incredible musician Dr. Busker will be appearing on Sunday 6th May in the bar from 8.30pm
Please note, road run 2012 is cancelled
First started in 1978, the Rushden Cavalcade has developed from a small gathering of vehicles, into the Rally that starts the season.
Bringing together over 1,000 exhibit's from all over country and attracting over 25,000 visitors annually.
This event has been staged for the last 30 years by Rushden Historical Transport Society, to support the upkeep of the Rushden Transport Museum.Event Features
