Ingleton Village fayre and classic vehicle show

Ingleton Village Fayre & Classic Car Show will be on Saturday 9th June in 2012. As normal the Fayre itself gets underway at around 1:30pm and continues until approx 4:30pm

We would like classic vehicle owners to arrive between 11:30 and 1:30pm if possible. Any type of classic welcome ie cars, motorcycles, commercials & tractors. The event is very informal so although we would like vehicles in place for the start of the fayre if anyone needs to leave early that is not a problem.

Once again we will be judging an overall best vehicle and awarding a prize.

Last year we had around 120 vehicles in total.

The Fayre is held on the village cricket/playing field which is on the south side of the village with vehicular access off Gainford Road. The other access which comes off the main road in the centre of the village then goes past the village hall is 'pedestrian only' on the day for safety reasons.

The format of the Farye will be similar to previous years so although individual attractions may not yet be confirmed they will most likely include the following. Morris dancers, band, traditional games, childrens sports, craft stalls and plant stall. We also hope to have 'Archers Icecream' which is a local farm produced icecream.

The WI also provide very reasonably priced refreshments in the Village Hall. They normally open for business at 12 noon with 'bacon butties' and continue throughout the afternoon with other excellent homebaked goods. There are also toilet facilities in the village hall.
