Pride of Longbridge Rally
The Pride of Longbridge community event is organised by Austin Longbridge Federation (ALF) and Rover Community Action Trust (RCAT). Any vehicle with a Longbridge connection, large or small, new or old, is very welcome to attend. This is a free event and no booking is necessary.
This includes modern MG/Rover products as well as vehicles with Riley, Austin, Morris, Rover Triumph and Vanden Plas badges or sports cars and commercials using the Longbridge built family of engines.
There will be entertainment for children and families including face painting, bouncy castle, Mehndi skin decoration, a competition (with a prize provided by MG) and local carnival Prince and Princess.
POL celebrates the Longbridge factory's achievements and allows former workers to show their families the products they built. Please come along.
The first POL was held spontaneously in 2006 on the 1st anniversary of the factory's closure in April 2005 and has continued on the same weekend every year since.

Location description
Cofton Park is 135 acres of rolling fields and trees and is situated on the slopes adjoining the Lickey Hills Country Park.
It is mostly open grassland with a few football pitches. There are areas of small woodland and in the centre of the park sits the old farmhouse as it has done for around 200 years.
There are also rows of oak and ash trees flourishing in straight lines where once there were the farmland boundaries of Lowhill Farm.
Cofton Park is also home to Birmingham Park�s Cofton nursery. The nursery provides displays of thousands of plants for bedding-out in the parks all over the City, civic occasions, the city centre floral display, Heart of England in Bloom and gardening shows such the Chelsea Flower Show and BBC Gardeners� World Live.
